I took these photos of the UNDUK NGADAU contestants doing their catwalk in modern evening dress and 7 of them are donning the creative ethnic evening dress to showcase the intricate work of the fashion designer in incorporating the spirit of the traditional dress of the Kadazandusun into a beautiful & stunning evening dress. I would like to apologize to Ms. Banggi because I was busy looking the other way when she's doing her catwalk, therefore I was not able to take her photo. :)

Unduk Ngadau 2013 - Registration Of Contestants

Hello everyone. The photos are the contestants of the concluded UNDUK NGADAU (Harvest Festival) beauty pageant contest held at Kadazan Dusun Community Association Hall in Penampang, Kota KInabalu on the 30th & 31 May every year.It is the culmination of a month long festival of Kaamatan or the Harvest Festival. Special thank you to the committee of this year's UNDUK NGADAU and to my friend, David Chong for the opportunity to photograph them. You can find David Chong in Facebook by the name of David Chg or David Aramaitii (Video & Photo). I took these photos when the contestants came to register for the contest. For your information, they are the winner of the UNDUK NGADAU pageant in their respective districts. A Big congratulation to Ms. Cherry Woolinskeyy Mudir, the contestant of Tenom Unduk Ngadau because she's the first to register at the registration desk at Le Meridien Hotel, Kota Kinabalu on 27th May, 2013.
